Big event coming....

Walked Banjo in Hagley Park early this morning and had a good look at the set up that has been put up for the big event of the week for Christchurch....

The Cricket World Cup games are being held here ( I am no cricket fan or expert so that is all the info I can give you!)

Although I have heard that the opening ceremony tomorrow is being held in this part of the park with the big stages and video screens  etc being beamed across the world. Plus we are going to have the biggest fireworks display ever seen in Christchurch..so that bit sounds exciting!
