Friendship

My 95 year old friend Anna and I enjoyed a light lunch today in the beautiful village of Eaglesham in an old fashioned tearoom called The Wishing Well. Anna is recovering from a nasty fall as she caught her foot on a curling stone in October 2014. This has curtailed her walks, her golf and her very active lifestyle as her ankle was broken.  Today was one of her first trips out after being 'confined to barracks'. But more than anything she enjoys a good penetrating conversation.  I think we managed to put the world to rights! I'm very lucky to know so many interesting people.
