Sunrise, Sun Gone.

This morning at precisely 7.57 the sun appeared above the horizon as a ball of fire (lower picture). 4 minutes later it slid up and under the huge solid bank of cloud in the east to disappear from view completely and the brilliant orange light was gone in seconds. I've never witnessed a sunrise quite like this before and was glad I captured two stages of the magical phenomenon.
