Little green alien?

After yesterday's late night and sleep over, I met up with my sis for lunch and a good catch up. We had lovely homemade soup and a sandwich. Treated ourselves and our other halves to some Eccles cakes for later today:-)
(They are gone now!) in case you've not realised by,now, we are both real foodies :-)

I had my camera with me all day but it's been so grey, and really quite cold, only 3 degrees!
I didn't see anything that inspired me to photograph it........after I dropped Ali off at home I drove on home. It was only 3.30 but the traffic was a joke! The drive home was tedious and took almost twice as long as usual, so my idea of possibly stopping off somewhere for my blip didn't materialise!

I literally popped around the corner from our house, into the lightly wooded area, and found this little flower in the hedgerow.....I've no idea what it is, not seen it before I don't think, but it's quite pretty and quite unusual I thought!

I WILL find something proper to blip tomorrow.
