Training

Today was day 2 of my annual Emergency training.  Although I do not work for British Airways, my airline does rent space from them - using their mock-ups and simulators.  Today we were going through our initial emergency training on the 787 Dreamliner aircraft.  The 787 is already part of our fleet, but we are only just now being qualified on it here in London. 

The mock-up at floor level in this picture is the door of the 787, used in our training.  

This is a very new type of aircraft in the airline industry - a lot of differences compared to other aircraft, so there was a lot to learn.  

I am glad to report that I have passed all my annual emergency training.  May I have yet another year of not having to use any of it!
