Curtains...

...for this place anyway. Not so old judging by the fireplace and other fittings but definitely on its way out. Being close to a main road, we have passed this many times and, of course, Herself has 'investigated' it before but it used to be boarded up. It is a very spooky place, surrounded by darkly creeping vegetation and its dour concrete exterior exudes an air of foreboding. It was uncomfortable being there alone so I did not linger and somehow the sound of nearby passing traffic made the silence of decay all the more penetrating.
