Chilling

This has caught Mr Tbay chilling before we head out for a YFC meeting this evening. Desmond is in there too , as always well camouflaged! 

Main excitement of the day was the news that a band of travellers were on the loose, and had set up camp very near by at a local attraction! (not too good for half term week!!) Owners were not happy and the police were called. 
Just as a precaution gateways were blocked here, as we are often very vunerable to the attention of  unwanted visitors  who can be very difficult to move on, and when they are moved, the mess they leave behind is not nice! Anyway they are currently still at the local attraction so probably won't bother us.

Farming - Mr Tbay Jnr still on muck hauling. Two on compost hauling and one on ploughing. Mr Tbay on litter picking still. Almost finished and it does look so much better. Amongst the detritus found and picked up, a condom. (What ever had they been doing in a vehicle on the move?) Oh and condom box also found further along the hedge, vast number of drink cans, KFC rubbish and hub caps!  I do wish people would take their rubbish home with them!! Also wondered why there was more KFC litter than Mc Donalds.  Both are quite near!  Does this prove that people on the move prefer KFC and if so why?? 

For me a day of food shopping, a routine blood test (ouch!) and report writing this afternoon. Also managed to squeeze a bit of family tree research as well. Back from a good meeting at which I seem to have now committed to more meetings. Oh dear !!
