Brown-noser!

Most of the time when I first give Cleo a really good treat (like a bone), she chews it for 10-30 minutes before she gets a special glint in her eye. Then she darts out the dog door with the treat and returns inside a few minutes later with this brown nose, having buried the treat, looking quite proud of herself.

Cleo has been through a lot lately. Her recovery from pancreatitis is not complete. She is still not eating well. So I thought she might enjoy a bully stick (as much as I am disgusted by those things!). She looked so excited that she didn't spend any time chewing it in the house at all. She took it straight outside, returning momentarily with this brown nose. Do you see that pleased with herself look?
