The Eel Hole

Before I went to school this morning, I dropped into the Eel Hole for a photo.  The sky was perfect, and the water beautifully calm, allowing for wonderful reflections in the water.

This spot is known by the locals as one of the best swimming spots in our Community.  It's actually part of the Buller River, but obviously got its name from having the odd eel swimming around in the water.

The river is very low at the moment - in places it is rather swallow due to the lack of rain.

The temperature reached 30 C again this afternoon.  And I think the weekend weather is going to be hot as well.  One day it will rain....it's just about a matter of when.
