Well, it was a very sad day today; it was the last day for one of the members of our team - Emeline, so we took her out for lunch. The restaurant has a terrace that gives great views of the city, but unfortunately, it wasn't a very clear day! The buildings in the distance are in Business Bay, around 20kms away.

G very kindly came to pick me up and we managed to avoid the awful traffic jam on SZR caused by the closing of Gulf Food (Exhibition).

... and finally, I had another go at applying for a (credit) card which will let us watch movies at a fraction of the cost - especially on a week day which is when G & I prefer to go to the cinema. Can't wait. Well, hoping my application doesn't get rejected (again).

PS. Hope you can just catch a glimpse of Burj Khalifa.
