Sunshine on a sad day...

It was a very sad day today. My family dog was admited to hospital a couple of days ago because of a compressed nerve on her back. She was given anti inflamatory drugs to see if she could get better that way, but she didn't. The poor thing was in pain and couldn't move. She got worse last night and the doctors said that the only way was to operate. When my mum and my sister went to see her this morning, they were told that the operation was really expensive and that, in case they operated, the dog might not survive or recover completely. Unfortunately, they had to put her down in the end. Very sad... At least she won't be in pain anymore. May she rest in peace...

A sad day as well because it's my last day in Barcelona. Tomorrow I'm flying back to Scotland.

This morning I just went out for a walk for a bit of much needed fresh air, enjoy the rest of the sunshine and take a few fotos.

This evening I'm meeting a couple of friends for a drink.
