..another good day..

G went to the dentist in Lochinver, so had to be up and away quite early.

I have been charged with the job of researching a Marquee and Bouncy Castle for the village. We're holding a Gala day (weekend) on 31st July and 1st August. Fancy dress competitions, duck race, and football matches. Disco for Friday. And Saturday, games start at 1 on the sports field, hill race, pillow fights, tractors, horse rides, and a band in the evening. There will be an opportunity to drink too!!

So I've been searching the internet for a Marquee and Bouncy thingy.. These will be bought outright, and available as a community asset.

Also ordered some items for the Hall, a couple of Soup Kettles, and a set of knives..

Then finished demolishing the old frame of the greenhouse. I sited it on a wooden base before, slabs of wood from the sawmill. I still have these to dig out, and some work to do on the old path before I can start on the new one..
