Obfuscated Design

Let me introduce my sister, Diana.

Didn't have long taking the picture, however I seemed to spend forever editing it. I run a MacBook with a 19" external screen, and for the first time I saw a noticable diffrence in colour profiles on the diffrent displays even though both are sRGB.

i've also seen my prints are far darker and less saturated then they are on screen and always more muted colours. But this is the first time I've seen it quite so dramtically. the colours shot from muted pale warm yellows, to very magenta like reds that highlighted her face.

So depending on your monitor this picture will change dramatically - I've never seen it so pronounced before on an image.

So todays question is (along with what do you think of the picture).. How do you configure your displays accuratly?!?!

Eric

PS. After reading comments from previous pictures - what I say in this description really does change how you see the picture - so for the moment I'm not going to introduce the picture that much that way your view will be your inital gut reaction. These are the ones I want to hear, and (like the rest of you) I do love to read your comments! (If you think I should introduce the pictures, please let me know in the comments)
