Who needs toys......

Yesterday got me a thinking.

They talked about how children are inundated with toys when in fact they don't need them.

We stop them rooting in cupboard because it is considered dangerous.

Its true. Some toys are brilliant...the most used toys in our house have been a great big box of building blocks, wooden train set and craft stuff. Many toys though just don't stand the test of time and are consigned to the charity shop.

Therefore I took a more relaxed approached to Baby S rooting through the cupboards today and let him help himself to the safer plastic stuff.

I think it is fair to say he has had a lovely day. We also had lunch in the garden. Its good to feel a bit of sun on the skin.

No singing club today. Hall booked for Razzle Dazzle for the next term. Phone calls to be made tomorrow about workshops etc.........I am going for it :) I have also spoken to a childminder about availability after August.
