sunshine! Sunlight streaming through the windows, birdsong, warmth, well relative to the rest of the week. A beautiful journey to the forest. Gently diffused sunlight bringing up the contours of the fells and highlighting the quietly developing colours of the birch and larch trees. Exploring the forest, following the Gruffalo Child's Trail, along pathways and winding tracks from the shade of the fir canopy out into the light of the clearing.
