waiting

...for the winter to end, spring to come and Mr W to get home after his week back in the UK.
We bumbled the day away with a trip into downtown to visit the bookstore and the coffee shop and get a sneaky walk/fresh air fix for us both. Needn't have worried about the little miss getting her exercise, she spent a good half of our stay at the coffee shop running about whilst proclaiming she was a galloping pony. This afternoon we took a walk around the block and went exploring in the yard. The snow has been melting fast today, the temperature being an uncharacteristic couple of degrees above 0C (40F). Promises of spring.....
