Aperture on Life

Snowdrops

The Snowdrops are showing themselves all over the place now and in places there are carpets of crocus.

I took the dogs into Albury Park for a quick run and met up with the old gardener.  He's a hive of information about the origins of the park which made for a very interesting afternoon.

I didn't need to lie down for this photo.  There is a convenient ha-ha that keeps the sheep out of the main gardens.  It's one of the features that John Evelyn installed in the 16th century. The Old Saxon Church looked good in the background.  Not long now and the view of it will be obscured by the leaves on the trees.
