Eating again ...

I didn't set out to fill my photos with food (nor my descriptions with alliteration) but today's lunch looked so pretty and tasted so good that I thought I would celebrate another culinary first. This is one of the recipes from my Christmas collection of Ottolenghi books; it was really simple and made a change from the soup that I might otherwise have made with the butternut squash that forms the basis of the dish.

The bright green is a coriander/garlic/olive oil gloop; the white is chilli yogurt. There are pumpkin seeds. Yum.

And I didn't know you could leave the skin on the butternut squash. Result!
