Watercolour sky

All this week I've been excited about our Valentine getaway weekend - made even more tantalising by
Jonathan's keeping the destination a secret. We set off yesterday lunchtime, and once we had gone past Carlisle I began to suspect I was being taken over the border, and so here we are at Dumfries.

We've had a lovely day in the sunshine with the cameras. First a walk round the very aptly named Sweetheart Abbey and quaint village, then on round the coast to Rockcliffe. This is a lovely, quiet, unspoilt area with so much to see. Looking forward to tomorrow!
