£2.50 for a bottle of wine??!!

Yesterday (after we'd walked to the garage and before we went to the vets) we went to Asda and Ann bought two bottles of Spanish white wine @ £2.50 a bottle.  £2.50???  What a ridiculously cheap price for a bottle of wine.  A lot of soft drinks are more than that?  No wonder there’s so many alcoholics about.

Anyway she was expecting it to be pretty horrible but actually it was very pleasant.  She should have bought more.  Apparently we’re going back to Asda tomorrow??!!

So she drank half of it last night, she’s demolished the other half already (well, it is Saturday night after all and we’ve not been out to the pub after work today) and has just opened the second bottle???

 ……………………..And people wonder why there are so many ‘alcohol related problems’ in this country???  Duh!!!
