It was even warm enough to unfasten my coat on this walk this morning.

I have only ever come down that steep track up the hill. The local fellrunners use that route to go up which seems like making it tough just for the sake of it. Its hard enough to come down.

11 Lapwings spotted near one of their breeding ground and a large number of gulls (circa 300) coasting over the Pennines at high altitude - heading East South East.
