Keeeeweeeee

It amazes me that Ivy has ready access to all sorts of exotic fruit- even somewhere as far North as Ullapool. Yes, I agree food miles arn't so good- and seasonal and local is best- but this is a child who loves Melons, Kiwis and Mangos- if we insisted she only ate local fruit, we'd have to move somewhere far warmer. 

She randomly decided after lunch today that really what she rather fancied was a kiwi fruit, and bounced up and down asking for one till I got her some in a bowl. I wonder what her train of thought that leads her to these requests is.
