Blenheim Palace on Saturday and Braemar Castle today! Two places of culture in one week is not bad.

And the other castle is Invercauld on the other side of the river Dee.

But the main photo is a sight I spotted on my way into Aberdeen today. These AA boxes used to be all over the place but I have not seen one for years. Maybe this has been especially preserved and restored for those of us who like a bit of nostalgia.

Talking of which, the AA patrolmen used to salute members on the road when they spotted the AA badge on the car!

And here's a riddle for you to solve. How can my suitcase have done more travelling than me this week?
