Skiddy night

Spent this morning in Berkshire, driving the newly updated Mazda 6, and managed to photograph the car just before the rain came. The rest of today was very wet and miserable. Then it was back on the M25 this evening to head to Heathrow for a night in an airport hotel, ahead of a very early flight tomorrow.

The motorway was awash with surface water, and lashed by heavy rain, so I played safe and tucked into the inside lane at a sub-70 pace. But idiots still charged up the outside lane at a crazy speed, even when the other carriageway was full of flashing blue lights around a line of crunched vehicles.

Took a wrong turn on the way to the hotel and found myself in the drop off lane at Terminal 5. I rather care for the swooping shaped canopies over the walkways.
