The View from the Eye

Such a lovely view!

We were up early again on a Sunday, and took our time getting ready. The usual routine followed- T makes breakfast; porridge for me, scrambled eggs with chilli and avocado for him. I "helped" or at least tried to! I'm quite useless in the kitchen, as I loathe cooking so consequently I can only do breakfast items!

We sat and relaxed while we had our breakfast, and then about 1pm, I headed home. Although it's half-term this week, and the world is my oyster, so to speak, I still like to get home in time to get settled, and see the family. Namely my mum and Little B ;-)

The train took forever, the Sunday usual, so it took me a while to get home. I unpacked, whizzed to M & S for daffodils and bread (no more bread for me after this!), then home to see the patient. Who was rather more sprightly, and greeted me at the front door!

I headed out to gym at 7pm, and I was glad I went. Despite my neck not being 100%, I had a good session, and our balances are definitely improving.

I was in bed by 11:30pm, earlier than if I had to go to work! Absolutely knackering weekend, but so lovely too.

Looking forward to a mini lie-in tomorrow :-)
