The Citadel, Amman
Amman is said to have been inhabited for over 8,000 years. The Citadel was an important location for the Assyrians, Babylonians, Persian, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, and Umayyads. These pillars are what remains of the Greek Temple of Heracles.
