Yarnbombed canoe

They have finished the whole canoe now on display on the corner lawn at the Museum of Art.
The info card states the title "Respiratory System" and says:  it is a contemporary commentary about ocean conservation.  Combining traditional techniques of crocheting and sewing with a traditional sailing canoe. 
Note the skull on the sail.  The tassels on the outrigger's ends seems vaguely obscene. 
The little blue and white canoe underneath is meaningful to me - this is not.
