Backwash ruffle

First instance of backwash seen this year.  

Extra 1  =  Red tailed tropic bird.  A couple from Oregon were taking fotos with a monster 500mm (about foot & a half long).  I asked him, what do you have there?  He said . . " about 8 pounds!"  They were familiar with the bird and excited to see them in courting behavior so close to shore.

Extra 2  =  Haven't seen this guy at Sandy Beach in awhile.  Love his style.
