Any excuse for a paddle.

Such a beautiful day again today, we spent the afternoon in the garden with friends and the paddling pool.

After hearing today that the dolphins were back in the bay a friends Dad said we could go out on his boat to see if we could spot them early this evening. Unfortunately it looked like they had moved on already but we had a lovely time and I came home with 30 mackeral for the freezer.

On the way home after an ice-cream the children were very excited to see the fire engine out along the seafront, luckily it was nothing serious, they had been called out to a bin on fire, it seemed to be only smouldering so what better way to put it out than a dip in the sea.
