looking down on stump cross at halifax above shibden park i noticed all the houses were clinging to the south facing hillside and all alongside the busy roads to Bradford and Leeds.The hours in total i must of waited at that junction over the years.
Even the Hough ,the road leading to Northowram village is built up.
