highway maintenance

Three vehicles in the middle of the village this morning and not a workmanperson in sight. They did add a little brightness to an otherwise dull street scene. 

No fell walking (or even valley walking) for me today .... it was drizzly and the cloud base was very low. No trip to the gym either but I've been trying to fit some exercises in between the housework.
