Wet (inside and out)

We have had a problem with the central heating in our cottage.  Over the past 12 months the pressure in the combi-boiler has gradually fallen between visits so there was clearly a slow leak somewhere.  The source was not obvious so as today was wet and windy I decided to investigate the problem.  I guessed the problem was where the central heating pipes were hidden behind a skirting board and removing the skirting proved my theory correct.   There was a slow drip from a joint which was obviously enough to depressurise the system.  The odd thing is that there was absolutely no sign of this without removing the skirting board.

So after a wet drive to Penrith to stock up with plumbing supplies the only possible photo opportunities were of the nice sky as we returned along the A66.

This shot shows Great Mell Fell in the rain.  It was a nightmare trying to keep rain off the lens so it was a hasty effort.

2 hours later the plumbing was fixed and everything is now dry again (inside at least).
