DAY 5 IN ZIM -- MORE PROJECTS.

BACK BLIPPING AGAIN!
Today was supposed to be a 7:00 start but one of the villages was unaccessible due to the river..this didn't make much difference yesterday!! so we left to visit the Bishop.

#went to see a farming project..after all the troubles a lot of people now had land but had little idea how to farm it effectively. This price of land is managed by this man who lives on it in a very small room and the produced is used by the diocese to feed families who crops fail or to sell. An irrigation system has been put in and has resulted in great crops.

# we then met the Bishop.....from left....
Simbarase (who we are living with), the Bishop, his lovely wife, me and the Archdeacon....all the men here have made bricks, mixed ceremony and put roofs on the buildings.

We then drove again for over an hour across fields and tracks to St Patricks...

#this is one of the diocese's big projects...a hospital build...again all hands on deck.

There is also an excellent secondary school (one of Zim's best) for the rural area...some
Children walk for 2 hours to school and then 2 hours home!!

HAPPY...to share a delicious lunch thanks to the very active Mothers Union

GOT BACK TO NO ELECTRICITY AGAIN...this time it lasted all evening so we went it bed early
