twinned with trumpton

By MrFT

Half term; so grabbed the boys and headed to the hills (OK the sleepy village in West Perthshire)

Some tree felling (ash and Scots pine), logging, splitting and stacking in a dry shed for next winter. Boys loved the loading logs, piling the sticks for a bonfire come spring proper.

And when I filed chains and refuelled the saw, they fell in burns, climbed trees and ran around like the feral brutes the are.

And nice to come into log burning stoves, a beer and macaroni cheese.
