Parachute Tether

There are about five parachute stations situated along the length of Playa La Ropa. At each station, there is a rope buried in the sand to which the vendors attach the parachute, keeping it from blowing away in the wind. For some reason, this rope was covered in algae or seaweed or some other kind of green slime, so I am guessing it is not used much. It does make a nice pattern, especially with the water streaked sand and incoming wave.
