Snazzy

Out and about early this morning, on account of it's dreadfully hot.

I really thought this little chap was an assassin bug of sorts, but it's obviously a beetle.  The irritating thing is that I know I've seen images of it recently but I can't work out where.  It's possibly a longicorn beetle of some sort.  I'll try and get back to the ID, but I'm a bit pushed for time at the moment.

Edit:  I forgot to mention.  I've withdrawn my images from Facebook.  it's for the best.  

I'm so pleased you all liked my lovely little visitor yesterday - he's gone now, of course, but it was lovely having him around for just a little while.  Thanks so much for the hearts and stars, they were truly appreciated.
