Captain's Log

To turn around and see you are being followed by a flock of young sailors is quite a delight.  The gleaming white of their uniform will soon be embellished by beer and food stains I'm sure. 

Such a lovely morning with Karin at the BP Portrait Awards in the Portrait Gallery.  Catching up on 4 years of family life, and yet it seems like only yesterday we spoke.  Isn't that a true friendship?  Then moving on to cake and coffee with another good chum.  Friday at it's best.

Picking up a set of keys and not really knowing what to do with them, or to make of the fact that another new chapter or phase begins.
