Another Cloudy Morning

It was heavily overcast this morning, but not too much to give us this richly colored sunrise.  I had my doubts I'd see anything.  It started out as a very dark purple, almost black on the camera, but developed into this at it's peak before fading quickly into a pale yellow.

Again, it paid off to get up early,  but this time I put on my robe and sandals.  It was warmer, too.  Having been cloudy all night the warmth from the previous day was held in like a blanket covering the sky.
