Trifecta

Another unsuccessful but very fun attempt to capture the night sky. More fun when I repaired inside and played with my camera there rather than on the roof.

The Moon, Venus, and Mars. Mars can be seen with the naked eye right now, and is visibly red. The red colour was more obvious in some of the longer exposures, but they had their own issues. But I learned a lot about using my camera. Mostly not to use it outside on a cold night.

Looks better on a computer screen than on a phone. All of these night shots are really just practice for when I get a better camera.
