Hang In There
Up to 40 mile an hour winds didn't help this little tufted titmouse in its efforts to free a peanut. And as hard as it tried... it just couldn't get the job done. (After watching all that exhausting effort take place without any success... I had to toss out a some more loose peanuts for the feeder-challenged birds.) ;-)
It's a few degrees warmer today. But with the wind whipping about out there, I actually longed for the colder temperatures of yesterday when we were out walking Piper. Burrrrr! Though, I have to say, I'm very glad I didn't have to be out after dark last night... It got down below -20 (F) degrees (real temp, no windchill factor!). Looks like the crazy cold is planning on sticking around for a while yet. Oh boy...
