OLD SCHOOL

This was my first school. The window in the Gable end was the largest of three windows that made for a bright and airy class-room. One room, one teacher and one composite class consisting of all the primary aged children from Skigersta and one from Adabrock - me! Our teacher was Christina MacDonald - locally known as Cairstiona Droggy. An inspiring teacher and poet that taught me to read, write and sit still. I loved her.
