WALK

Port of Ness 247. The 'kiosk' , as it was referred to, was the hub of village communications. It worked through pre-arranged time-slots on a weekly basis - Miss MacLean - Thursday at 7.30, Mrs Morrison Saturday at 9pm. The 'walk -to talk' was a weekly occurrence. Village Mums did most of the talking - clipped and informative due to the talk not being cheap. The village kiosk - the end of the WALK to talk.
