'Proper' snow

Awakening this morning the blue sky of the last two days was conspicuous by its absence. Over breakfast coffee we watched the cloud base plummet down the face of the Rochers des Fiz - and by the time we were up and going St Gervais was in the cloud and the first flurries of snow were beginning to fall. We ran some errands but were glad to get back - the hire car upgrade to 4x4 proving useful as people were already starting to slide off the road in places. Back for lunch & no sign of it stopping - so thought I'd grab blip from the balcony - in the cloud & snowing - not the greatest opportunities for blips - but on the upside - tomorrow will be a powder day!
