A low key morning; no school run for once.

We finally ambled up to Lidl and took some shots as we bought milk; then back for soup and salami sandwiches before heading out east to meet Val and Cian  minus Maddie.

We met at the back of East Links and wandered across the salt marsh (beach was under water as the tide was pretty much right up. Then looped around through the pine forest and back to gawp at the animals.

Back into town, we picked up the invalid and took her home with the shopping; fed the boys there whilst rustling up a quick tuna steak / pineapple and mango salsa with wild rice before leaving her to convalesce in peace.

Watched some more of the BBC 4 Storyville episode of The Great Sex Addict Heist.
