After a fairly busy 'holiday', a slow start and low intensity day was the plan.
We got out around 10 and walked to Cramond Island; got woken up by the biting wind, found Cigs tags and were home for lunch and warm through.
An afternoon of gentle shopping for the invalid and then home for a few hours of - well, nothing!
Dropped them back and wandered home via the harbour to watch seals basking with oyster catchers on the pontoons before shutting the door and pouring wine.
Interrupted only by a low battery on the smoke alarm - do I ignore and die from smoke inhalation or die from head injuries sustained by falling off a chair trying to fix the smoke alarm?
Tune in tomorrow to see if I survive....
