' I love You '

Well I never knew that horses could pull such funny faces. No wonder they make such a strange noise sometimes. These two had been frolicking around the field for a good 15 minutes. Standing on their hind legs, almost cuddling, chasing each other  and causing quite a racket. It was fun to watch them and another two joined in as well.
We woke to a sprinkle of snow, a cold night but as soon as the sun was up it started to melt. The slither of the moon is back now and the pinemarten is feeding on the windowsill. We heard two of them outside squealing playfully the other night. They have been abit camera shy of late.

Mike put three bird boxes up yesterday for National Bird Box week and already the bluetits have been in all three, preferring the newer box. A great tit went in one and I saw a male and female sparrow in the box the bluetits usually use. So hopefully we'll see plenty of young birds in the Spring.
