Leaving

We left the Lake District today in beautiful sunshine and with a gentle drift of icing sugar snow on the fell tops.
It's a shame to leave the good weather behind but then better than driving home in pouring rain.
We grabbed a final photo opportunity by screeching to a halt in a layby and taking photos of the Blencathra area.
I like the whitewashed farm buildings and houses of Threlkeld just seen here.
