Waiting his turn
It is snowing again and this morning there was a red bellied woodpecker at the suet feeder.
Actually there were LOTS of birds at the suet feeder, so I went on an expedition to every window of the house.
I saw the red belly, two downy woodpeckers, a nuthatch, several chickadees, a blue jay, a titmouse, a pair of cardinals and several sparrows. The smaller birds would wait in the trees until the larger birds flew off.
It was very difficult to choose a blip because I had so many interesting birds. But I decided that there are much better quality pictures on the internet of all of these, so I chose this one because I think it tells a story.
