Great the difference daylight makes !

I am a little over 3km from the P. O. & downtown Wanaka, & although it is so peaceful here, you wouldn't believe the crowds, cars & chaos lining the roads for this weekend of endurance, swimming, cycling & running !

Six drops of rain last night, not even enough to measure in the rain gauge. I am sure the rain swirls round the hills, sweeps round by Meadow Stone & then fizzles out. So often blippers on the south side mention rain &, cross my heart, we never experience a drop.
