HARLEQUIN DUCK
This is a really bad photo of a very rare duck, but I do not have a huge zoom lens and this has to be my blip of the day. We were up and off early and arrived on the banks of the River Don in Aberdeen about 1 o'clock; not a bad run at all.
It wasn't too hard to find the Harlequin Duck, and a Dipper, but it was hard to photograph them. I suffered from lens envy seeing the images others were getting.
To celebrate it was a very pleasant meal and a night in a hotel near Newburgh. Cheers.
